Students contemplating application to ESU – or students already studying here – are invited to discover how foreign languages can enhance their professional plans. Professors of French, Spanish, German and other languages will be on hand to offer personalized academic advising during the morning session (10:30-11:30 at the Keystone Room). During the second session (12-2 p.m.) students and parents are then invited to tour our departmental office and state-of-the-art Language Learning Center (Stroud 208 and 204), as well as to see our SMART classrooms. Current ESU language majors will be on hand to speak with prospective students about the several degree options. These options include majors (or second majors) in French and Spanish (with and without teaching certification); minors in French, Spanish and German (with Italian and Chinese in process); and additional coursework in Arabic, Latin, Ancient Greek and Portuguese. Study abroad destinations are available around the world.

To learn more, please feel free to call ahead and speak with departmental professors: (570) 422-3407.
