The Spanish Guitar: A Recital

World-renowned Spanish guitarist Maestro Francesc de Paola Soler brings his art and insight to the ESU community for a musical tour of classic and modern works from Spain and Latin America. This concert event, co-sponsored by the Music Department, offers a rare opportunity to experience the influential tradition of the Spanish Classical Guitar. 

Maestro Soler will also offer a Spanish-language lecture – "La vida de la guitarra" – October 8 at ESU’s Language Learning Center (Stroud 204), 5:30-6:30 p.m. Students of Spanish and music are welcome.

Maestro Soler will follow his lecture with a Master Class that will be open to the public. Several ESU students will receive instruction. This event takes place October 8, 7 p.m. at the Cohen Recital Hall.
